When you receive a Reject
Reject via the PA-R as a Invoice sender (status 213)
Steps until the receiving of the Reject :
- Invoice submitted to Billit and Invoice sending is launched.
- Flow 1 → accepted by PPF.
- Flow 2 → delivered via Peppol to the customer's receiving Plateforme Agréée.
- PA-R of the customer rejects the invoice (technical rejection).
- The invoice is not delivered/made available to the customer through the normal invoice delivery process.
- The PA-R makes information about the rejection available to the customer.
- The PA-R transmits the 213 – Rejetée status and rejection reason to the PA-E (Billit).
- The 213 – Rejetée lifecycle status is also transmitted to the CdD PPF. The lifecycle of the rejected invoice is terminated with status Rejetée.
- Reject information:
- Appears in the messages.
- Available via API or webhook.
Actions for the sender:
- Read and analyse the rejection information available in Billit.
- Where available, download/open the related XML to obtain the detailed rejection information.
- If the reason for the rejection cannot be determined, contact Billit Support.
- If you believe the invoice content is correct and the rejection is unjustified, contact Billit Support.
Correct the invoice data that caused the technical/compliance rejection.
- Create a new regular invoice with a new invoice number, containing the corrected information.
- The new invoice is transmitted as a new Flow 1 to the CdD PPF.
- The new invoice is transmitted as a new Flow 2 via Peppol to the customer's PA-R.
- The new invoice does not need to reference the rejected invoice.
- If useful, information explaining that the new invoice replaces/corrects the rejected invoice may be included in an appropriate invoice note/text field.
